Provincial/territory teams of three women compete for the national team championship.

 

How to Enter

By nomination only. Provinces and territories can enter by submitting their team entry form to Squash Canada. 

 

Entry Fee

$500 + HST = $525 per team of three players

 

Entry Deadline

Friday, December 6, 2013 @ 5:00pm EST

 

Entry Package

Entry includes tournament souvenirs, meal tickets, a welcome reception on Thursday night, and a Saturday evening banquet.

 

Prize Money

Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams.

 

Playing Schedule

January 10th at 11:00am- Tournament begins

Tournament format is a 6-team round robin, with final matches being played Sunday morning.

Athletes can participate in this championship by provincial/territorial nomination only. Provinces and territories can enter by submitting their team entry form to Squash Canada. 

 

 

 

POLICIES AND REGULATIONS

 

 

Eyeguards

Eyeguards are mandatory for all participants under 19 years of age, and strongly recommended for all other competitors. Please consult Squash Canada's Eyeguard Policy for the list of approved models.

 

Athlete Eligibility

In order to represent a Provincial/Territorial Squash Association a competitor must be:

 
• A member in good standing of the respective Provincial/Territorial Squash Association and Squash Canada.
 
Notwithstanding a competitor may be a member in good standing with their respective Provincial/Territorial Squash Association and Squash Canada, where a competitor is subject to a sanction imposed by the Host Club, Squash Canada shall respect that sanction, including any sanction which may preclude the person from entering the premises and thus participating in the Championships, provided the sanction was imposed using fair procedures.  Specifically, the sanctioned person must have been informed by the Host Cub of the nature of the infraction and have been given an opportunity to provide information concerning the incident prior to the sanction being imposed.
 
• Be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, or have resided continuously in Canada for one (1) year immediately preceding the Championships 
 
• Have been resident in the province/territory that they are representing for a minimum of ninety (90) days immediately preceding the Championships,
or
 
• If a competitor is in full-time attendance at a university or college, or if a competitor has temporarily relocated to a training centre outside their home province, the competitor may compete for either their home Provincial/Territorial Squash Association or resident Provincial/Territorial Squash Association.
 
 
Provincial/Territorial Squash Associations may adopt further eligibility requirements in addition to the Squash Canada requirements.
 
 
Refund Policy
 

75% refund if withdrawal is prior to entry deadline (December 6th)
50% refund if withdrawal is after entry deadline but before the draw is determined
No refund if withdrawal is after draw is determined
