In preparation for the event, we require that everyone has an up to date Club Locker account.  Squash Canada uses the online Club Locker software to receive registrations, manage the draw, schedule and results, and allows us to feature live scoring that we are sure you and yours back home will come to appreciate.

Squash Canada transferred player information stored in previous Tournament Software player database over to Club Locker, so you may or may not be aware that you have the beginnings of a Club Locker account.  Below are different scenario Club Locker update instructions.

If you already have a Club Locker account and know your password

Please use your existing account at https://canada.clublocker.com to ensure your information is accurate and up to date. You can view and change information using the following steps:

  1. After logging in to your account, click your name on the top right of the screen and select “my profile”.
  2. Click the “edit” box and ensure your personal info is accurate (full name, birth date, main club affiliation, province, and country).  The draw and live scoring pulls your club and provincial affiliation from your account.
  3. Scroll down and click on “contacts” and ensure that your contact information is correct, including email. Click on “address” and ensure that this is also up to date!  Club Locker generated emails leading up to and during the championship will go to the email on your profile.

If you are unsure if you have an account or if you have misplaced your password

Please follow the below steps before creating a new account (we wish to avoid multiple accounts for the same person):

  1. In the Club Locker login window (https://canada.clublocker.com), input your regular email address or the one you think you used for previous squash event registrations.  Click on 'Lost Password'. If you are in the system, it will show 'password sent'. Retrieve that temporary password from the email and enter at the login stage, and you should be in.  If you get an error message that 'email address not found', try other email addresses that you might have used.  If unsuccessful, consider the next two options;
  2. If unsuccessful, try repeating the above step on www.clublocker.com.
  3. Look for an auto-generated email from Squash Canada between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1 with your user name and link to create a password.  Check your ‘junk’ folder too;

Once you have access to your account, please update your profile information as above.

If you do not yet have an account

If you do not have an account or simply can’t navigate your way through the previous scenario, create a new account in Club Locker. Visit https://canada.clublocker.com to create your account, ensuring that you input the profile information as described above.

All participants in the Open category and all age categories of each event also must have a current and active World Squash Federation SPIN (Squash Personal Identification Number).  To purchase a WSF SPIN number please click here

REGULATIONS

DRAW FORMAT

A.    All categories of play will use a single elimination main draw with feed-in consolation except if there are 4 to 6 entries, in which case the format will be round-robin. Events with less than four entrants may be combined with the next lower age category. See Appendix J of Canadian Championship Hosting Standards for the Tie Breaking Policy.

B.    All Master’s categories of play will be conducted with a single elimination main draw featuring a feed-in consolation (including quarter final losers) and playoffs for 3rd/4th.

C.    For the Open Event, see Special Open format regulations (Click Here). Note that there have been several changes from 2018, notably that there will be an Open Consolation Draw, versus relegating non-Main Draw qualifiers into the 'A' Category.  There is a cap of 28 players in Open events, successful registration therefore does not guarantee entry. If there are more than 28 entries, there is a process to determine which 28 players will be entered in the event.  There will be a qualification round for the Men's & Women's Open division, a Main Draw of 16 and an Open Consolation Draw. The Open Qualification rounds will commence on Tuesday April 30th, and the Main Draw will start on Wednesday May 1st. Open registration deadline is 9:00 a.m EST, March 18th, no late entries will be accepted.
