After a thrilling day of quarter-final matches at the 2017 Mayfair Lakeshore Canadian Squash Championships, the top four seeds in both the Women’s and Men’s Open division have all advanced, taking them each one step closer to capturing the national title.

The Women’s Open semis are filled by Team Canada’s 2016 Women’s World Championships squad members, Hollie Naughton, Samantha Cornett, Danielle Letourneau and Nikki Todd.  For the second year in a row, Hollie Naughton and Nikki Todd will battle it out in semi-final action. After missing last year’s Canadian Championships due to injury, the second semi-final match sees 2015 Champion, Samantha Cornett, back in action and taking on last year’s finalist Danielle Letourneau. Both have been here before, both have made it to the finals before and both will leave it all on the court in hopes of making their finals return.
