Team Canada Returns to International Competition at Pan Am Senior Championships April 3rd – 9th in Guatemala.

Team Canada makes its return to International Team Competition April 3rd – 9th in Guatemala City for the 2022 Pan Am Senior Championships. After a myriad of cancellations and postponements during the pandemic, Squash Canada senior athletes and coaches are excited to wear the maple leaf once again while taking on Pan-America’s best. The tournament features 15 nations competing in individual singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team singles.

Team Canada will be anchored by Hannah Blatt (MB) and Mike McCue (ON) who enter the event as the #7 and #3 individual seeds respectively.  They will be joined by NextGen and Junior squad members, Amal Izhar (ON), Maria Min (BC), Liam Marrison (ON), Salah Eltorgman (ON) and Maximilien Godbout (QC) who will gain valuable international experience.

The team will be led by coaches Yvon Provencal (QC) and Nicole Pirko (ON) while being accompanied by international delegate Lolly Gillen and referee Viano Oghenekevwe.
