Lisa Henderson – Director at Large (2020-2023)

A successful leader in the Alberta squash community, Lisa brings a vast array of volunteer experience to Squash Canada as a former Squash Alberta Board member, the Squash Sport Lead for the 2019 Canada Winter Games held in Red Deer and as a Certified Coach.  In addition, she is an active player in both singles and doubles having competed in many provincial and national championships over the years. “I am honoured and excited to be able to serve the squash community as a Squash Canada Board member,” said Henderson. “Given where we are with the pandemic and the gradual return to play, squash faces significant challenges, but also opportunity.  I believe my perspective as a player, coach, and grassroots sport builder can add value to the work of Squash Canada and I look forward to working with stakeholders across the country to strengthen and build our sport.” In her professional career, Lisa is currently an Instructor at the Donald School of Business at Red Deer College and has also held the roles of Program Manager for the School of Continuing Education and a Training and Development Coordinator with Red Deer College.
