Ms. Thompson has previously worked as a Negotiator and Manager with Commercial Real Estate Richard Ellis Hong Kong from 1985 to 1990. Sandra has also contributed significantly to the squash community for many years as the Chair of the Junior Committee and Chair-Player of Player Development on the Squash British Columbia Executive. She was instrumental in starting the Provincial and Regional Junior Camp programs and in creating the current Junior Provincial Championships Tournament formats. Further, she has played a major role in promoting Junior Grassroots programs and attaining funding, court time and volunteers to make these programs successful. Sandra has recently earned Squash BC’s Kevin Kydd Junior Service Award which is presented to an individual who has unselfishly inspired, coached, mentored or supported Junior squash players. The addition of Sandra Thompson to the Squash Canada Board of Directors brings clear supplemental value to the organization.
