Like so many players, Sam Cornett started playing junior squash at her local club with friends and family. Now one of Canada’s most decorated squash players, Sam’s career highlights include a Team Gold Medal at the Pan Am Games in 2011, a Silver Medal in Doubles in Toronto in 2015, reaching the top 16 at the World Championships and playing the first professional sports event in Saudi Arabia. Sam finds so much of the game fulfilling: extreme challenges in training and competition, giving back to the community, and always trying to find the balance in her personal life.
