Looking back on her extensive squash career, Carolyn sites both the people she’s met along the way and playing in the finals of the Pan-Am games as highlights. Carolyn vividly remembers playing against team USA in her home town of Winnipeg for the gold medal game. She overcame a slow start to lead the team to victory! Carolyn has been able to balance competing at a high level with her education and work goals. She has earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering and an MBA. Overall, she believes that squash is one of the greatest sports: « it has everything: intensity, endurance, skill, flexibility and strategy. When I’m on the court my mind is in constant analysis about what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do next. It’s an amazing feeling. »
