At a Special General Meeting on December 19th, provincial/territorial associations elected Faheem Gwadry as the new Vice President – Finance to the Squash Canada Board of Directors.
The Vancouver native comes to the service of the national association, having been a member of the Squash BC Board and a senior executive within corporate Canada. Over the last 20 years Gwadry has served a number of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles in BC and nationally, having been well served by his educational background including a Kellogg MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Marketing and Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate in General Management, both from Northwestern University. He and his wife both play squash and their two children are talented junior players.

I am excited to be working with the Board and Team of Squash Canada as well as local, provincial, territorial, and international stakeholders to further the positive impact of Squash Canada on growing the sport as well as on progressing the vision and mission of Squash Canada to ‘be a world leading squash nation while inspiring all Canadians to participate’ and ‘to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all Canadians to enjoy, develop, and excel at the sport of squash through collaborative leadership, services and programs.’”
