The only national collegiate squash event in Canada, the Canadian University and College Squash Championships will be staged on the Webster Squash Courts of McGill University in Montréal, QC from March 14 – 16, 2025.
The Canadian University and College Squash Championship is the premier competitive opportunity for sport-minded students enrolled in an accredited Canadian university or college from all provinces and territories.
“Squash Canada has identified College and University squash as a key priority in our strategic planning leading into 2028. With a rich history of team competition, courts in many institutions and an ideal demographic for our dynamic and diverse sport, the potential for growth to this program is exciting,” says Jamie Nicholls, Chief Executive Director of Squash Canada. “McGill University is a shining example of what the spirit of College and University squash can look like, and we thank them for hosting this important event in 2025.”
McGill’s seven courts are home to the McGill Competitive Squash Club, who compete in the Ontario Jester’s League, and the University Squash Club, which is comprised of students, staff, alumni, and members of the Montreal community.
“Opening our doors to the rest of Canada is an exciting opportunity to showcase our facility and local squash community,” shared Ryne Bondy, Manager of Recreational Sports for McGill Recreation. “Hosting the event will also make it easier for members of our team to compete in the event and have a chance to test themselves against the rest of the country.”

Entries are open to any student-athlete wishing to compete in the 2025 championships. Registration is open and will close March 4, 2025 at noon (12:00 p.m. EST).
