Seventeen athletes from across the country have been named to this year’s NextGen Squad, each working to elevate their game and take the next steps toward competing at the highest level.
Named to this year’s squad are Abbas Nawaz (QC), Blake Reinson (AB), Calder Murray (AB), Colten McLaughlin (QC), Maximilien Godbout (QC), Iman Shaheen (ON), Jayden Shortt (ON), Lialah Mavani (QC), Maria Min (BC), Mohamed Kamal (QC), Molly Chadwick (ON), Sydney Maxwell (ON), William Harris (ON), Wing Kai Gladys Ho (BC), Youssef Sarhan (QC), Youssef Taha (AB), and Zoe Chong (ON).
Together, these athletes represent the next wave of Canadian squash talent. As they take on more senior-level competition and gain valuable international experience, they will continue building the skills, resilience, and experience required to compete at the highest level of the sport.
