Team Canada has arrived in Tauranga, New Zealand ready to hit the courts for the 2017 World Junior Championships. From July 19-29, the 5 athletes representing Canada will battle it out on the courts of the Devoy Squash & Fitness Centre.
The ten day event features the Men's and Women's Individual Championships as well as the Women's World Junior Team Championship, where the 2017 team looks to better Canada's best ever finish of fifth place.

Squash Canada announced the squad at the end of June, a roster full of young, promising talent who are all coming off a great competitive 2016-17 squash season.
Prior to boarding the plane on the adventure to the other side of the globe, the squad came together in Vancouver to work with Squash Canada's Junior Women Head Coach, Richard Yendell and team manager Janet MacLeod.
The individual championships lead off the world juniors, followed then by the Women's Team event.
Canada's first match ups are:
17-year-old, Emma Jinks (Stratford, PEI) will kick off in the second-round of the individual tournament with a match against Malaysia’s Aifa Azman.
