The 2025 Canadian Doubles Championships, presented by Slaight Music and the Mortgage Company of Canada, delivered four days of exciting on court action and world class hosting of it from March 27 to 30. Returning to the Granite Club, who last hosted in 2019, the event featured top-tier talent across 18 divisions, including the inaugural Women’s 70+ draw and the largest-ever Men’s 70+ field.
In the Men’s Open field, the Peruvian Puma Diego Elias and veteran Robin Clarke gelled at the right time, securing the national title—Clarke’s seventh and Elias’ first. Their chemistry on court proved to be a recipe for success, as they overcame the formidable SDA team of Jackson Kay and Matthew Henderson 3 – 0 in the finals after narrowly escaping bronze medalists Gary Waite and Reiko Peter in 3 – 2 in the semifinals
The Women’s Open draw saw an outstanding performance from Nikole Todd and Jackie Moss, who claimed the Women’s Open title in style, sweeping the competition without dropping a game. They defeated Stephanie Hewitt and Seanna Keating in the final, while the youthful team of Nicole Kendall and Maddie O’Connor rounded out the podium. In addition to the premier Open Draws, the tournament celebrated champions across all age and skill level divisions. For full results, scroll down.
