Squash Canada is pleased to highlight its ongoing partnership with the Arjun Gupta Foundation (www.arjunguptafoundation.com) to deliver the Arjun Gupta Foundation Post-Secondary Scholarship. As part of the Foundation’s deeply impactful, five-year $100,000 commitment to supporting the Canadian squash community, this joint initiative will award a series of $2,500 financial bursaries annually to exceptional Canadian student-athletes who are successfully balancing athletic and academic excellence with the demands of post-secondary education.
The scholarship remains dedicated to honoring the enduring legacy of Arjun Gupta, celebrating his remarkable standard of academic excellence, athletic passion, sportsmanship, and profound commitment to community mentorship.
By identifying and supporting student-athletes who embody these specific values, Squash Canada and the Arjun Gupta Foundation seek to foster the next generation of well-rounded leaders who will champion the sport both on the court and in their future professional careers.
This bursary program is intentionally designed to assist dedicated athletes facing financial pressures and barriers, ensuring that economic constraints do not hinder their competitive growth or academic ambitions. The scholarship will be awarded with significant consideration given to demonstrated financial need. In doing so, it will empower Canada’s top student-athletes to continue excelling on the global stage without compromising their educational goals.

Applications for this year’s Arjun Gupta Foundation University Scholarship are now officially open to eligible Canadian post-secondary student-athletes studying at institutions either domestically or internationally.
