Squash Canada is pleased to announce The Club at White Oaks and Ridley College as the host of the 2024 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners, which will be held December 7 – 10, 2024, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The Canadian Junior Open is the most prestigious international junior squash tournament held annually in Canada. Information and registration are now available via Club Locker.
“Squash Canada is excited to host players from across Canada and the globe for the 2024 Canadian Junior Open,” says Squash Canada CEO Jamie Nicholls. “We are thrilled to see our junior athletes compete at the Mark Sachvie Squash Centre at The Club at White Oaks, and the brand-new Jack Aylott Squash Centre at Ridley College. These five additional courts at Ridley College, including one glass court, will allow for more matches and a more relaxed schedule overall. Participants will look forward to enjoying a heightened playing, spectator, and broadcast experience with the return of the all-glass Power Court, named in honour of the Canadian World Champion Jonathon Power by benefactors The Syra Group and the Singh Family.”
“Squash Canada would like to thank tournament directors Matt Easingwood, Nicholas Sachvie, and Cindy Sachvie, presenting sponsor Forthlane Partners, and the teams at White Oaks and Ridley College in advance for what will no doubt be a monumental 2024 CJO.”
As a registered PSA event, the 2024 CJO will enable U17 and U19 athletes to claim PSA ranking points. For more information, please contact samantha.cornett@squash.ca.
