Everything You Need To Know: 2025 Canadian Women's Open
The 2025 Canadian Women’s Squash Open will take place from October 25 to 30, 2025, at Brookfield Place in Toronto, Ontario. This prestigious event is part of the PSA World Tour and features top international female squash players competing on an all-glass Power Court in the iconic Brookfield Place atrium.
The official draw and match schedule will be available closer to the tournament dates on the PSA World Tour website. Additionally, updates will be posted on Squash Canada’s social media (Instagram & Facebook: @SquashCanada).

Seating options include Premium Back Wall for the best view of the glass court and General Admission Sidewall (Note: Oct. 25 and 26 Sessions Only) for a more affordable way to enjoy the action.

In 2024, Belgium’s Tinne Gilis claimed the title, defeating Amanda Sobhy of the United States in the final. Other notable participants included Nele Gilis-Coll (Belgium), Mélissa Alves (France), Tesni Murphy (Wales), Jasmine Hutton (England), and Sarah-Jane Perry (England).
The 2023 edition saw Amanda Sobhy lift the trophy after a hard-fought final against Egypt’s Salma Hany. Notable competitors include Sivasangari Subramaniam (Malaysia), Sabrina Sobhy (USA), and Zeina Zein (Egypt).
Canadian players have also been well represented, with national stars such as Hollie Naughton, Nikki Todd, Nicole Bunyan, and Niki Shemirani competing in recent years.
The TAC Open (formerly the Cambridge Group of Clubs Classic) is a men’s professional squash tournament that runs alongside the Canadian Women’s Open in Toronto. It is part of the PSA World Tour and features emerging international male athletes.
For the 2025 edition, the men’s tournament will join the glass court programming at Brookfield Place from the Quarter Finals stage onward.
