Named as one of 150 activities Canadians across the country are being encouraged to ‘CHECK OFF’ their Play List, SQUASH is officially swinging into action as the 150 Play List Tour makes a stop at the 2017 Canadian Squash Championships.
Hosted by the Mayfair Club Lakeshore (Toronto, ON), the 2017 Canadian Squash Championships takes place May 3-6. As the final Canadian championship of the squash season, the 2017 Canadian Squash Championships welcomes over 300 competitors who will compete in over 500 matches during the four-day competition.
Originally set to take place outside, the tour stop moves indoors as Toronto gets hit with torrential downpours. But a little rain won’t stop Canadians from checking #67 off their 150 Play List, because part of what makes squash great is that rain or shine you can always play!
2017 Canadian Squash Championship competitors can register for the 150 Play List while Canadians already registered for the 150 Play List can check squash off their list.
What is the ParticipACTION 150 Play List?
The Play List is a crowd sourced list of 150 uniquely Canadian activities and we are challenging the community to complete as many of these activities as possible, with the goal of getting Canadians more active. ParticipACTION is currently running a nationwide tour, with two teams on the road, visiting communities from coast to coast, bringing a variety of fun and unique physical activity experiences and one of those teams will be at the 2017 Canadian Squash Championships.
Join us today, Friday May 5th from 9am-7pm, as the 150 Play List makes its Tour stop at the Canadian Squash Championships! Join 150 Play List ambassadors at Mayfair Club – Lakeshore, located 801 Lakeshore Blvd. East, as we welcome all competitors and the local community to register for the 150 Play List, check SQUASH off their list and enjoy some great Canadian squash action.
