Canada's Cornett & Todd Captured a fifth place finish at the 2017 WSF World Doubles Championship today with a win over Wale's Evans and Saffery.
After dropping a hard-fought, close quarter finals match up to India's Chinappa and Pallikal, Cornett and Todd received a bye in the semi's of the 5/8 draw and then the win against Evans and Saffery to secure the fifth place finish.

A fifth place finish for the duo increases their chances of being named to Team Canada for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia next spring.
