After completing pool play with a 2-1 record, Canada's Sam Cornett and Nikki Todd have advanced to the quarter finals of the Women's Doubles draw at the 2018 Gold Coast XXI Commonwealth Games.
Cornett and Todd face India's Chinappa & Pallikal Karthik, who entered the tournament seeded 3rd. The Canadian duo last faced the Chinappa-Pallikal Karthik pair at the 2017 WSF World Doubles Championships, also in the quarter finals. In a hard-fought battle the Indian duo narrowly took the win. Cornett & Todd will draw on that experience to flip the outcome in hopes of reaching the semi finals.
Set for 11am on April 13 (9pm EST April 12 for those back home), the Canadians will take the court at the Oxenford Studios ready to go!
