Squash Canada is happy to announce the team for the 2023 Pan American Junior Championships taking place from August 13th to 19th in Pilar, Argentina. This prestigious international event will see eight of Squash Canada’s Junior athletes battling for the podium in singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and team events.

The team will be led by coaches Nicole Pirko and Chris Hanebury.
Amal Izhar, who is returning to the Pan American Championships for the second time, told Squash Canada: “I am really looking forward to representing Canada again at the Pan Am’s. I competed at the Pan Am Championships in Guatemala last year and it was such a great experience! I am excited about going to Argentina with my teammates of immense talent from across the country and hopefully, we can bring back some medals!”
“It is an honour to represent Canada at the Pan American Junior Squash Championships and compete with some of the best junior squash players in the world,” shared Faazil Khan. “We should always aim higher and work harder to achieve more. Let’s go Team Canada!”
