2024 Canadian Doubles Championships to take place at the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club from April 4th to 7th

Presented by Slaight Music and Ridley Windows and Doors, the 2024 Canadian Doubles Championships will be taking place from April 4th to 7th at the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club, supported by the Badminton and Racquet Club.

This event will bring together some of the best doubles players of all levels and ages. Last year’s rendition of the event brought more than 200 doubles players to Burlington, while this year’s Doubles Championships will nearly double that number; 330 competitors will be competing in men’s and women’s divisions, with the competition being as strong as ever.

“The Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club is proud to host the Canadian Doubles Championship on the 90th anniversary of the event first being played in 1934. We are delighted with the record turnout and looking forward to crowning champions in 17 categories with 330 competitors ranging in age from 17 to 79.

The Canadian Doubles Championship is the highlight of the Canadian Doubles season and, along with the U.S. Doubles, one most important fixtures on the schedule.  We are delighted with the overwhelming number of entries from across North America.  Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, London, Kitchener, Toronto  and Montreal are all represented along with many of our friends from south of the border.

Headlining the Open categories are the Cricket Club’s professionals Robin Clarke, partnering with the Toronto Racquets Club’s Scott Arnold, looking for his 7th title, and Nikki Todd who is paired with Denver’s Suzie Pierrepont.  Also vying the Open trophies are reigning Canadian Champions Stephanie Hewitt and Seanna Keating and many Squash Doubles Association touring players. It’s going to be an amazing event!” – Robin Clarke, Tournament Chair
