Squash Canada announces coach selections for 2024 International Events

    Squash Canada is thrilled to announce the selection of certified coaches for several upcoming international events. These coaches will support Team Canada athletes in their efforts to perform at their very best as they compete against the best squash players from around the world.

    “We are lucky in Canada to have so many qualified and experienced coaches, and this year we were thrilled with the quality and quantity of applications from the Canadian coaching community,” says Samantha Cornett, Squash Canada’s Manager of Athlete Development. “Squash Canada works hard to support coaches on their respective journeys. We look forward to seeing this great group do what they do best while we all support our athletes!”

    • Pan Am Junior Championships (June 2024): Alix Younger, Tyler Osborne
    • World Junior Championships (July 2024): Jonathan Hill, Victoria Lust
    • Battle of the Border (August 2024): Alix Younger, Amr Elmehelmi, Ian Power, Janet MacLeod, Josh Rudolph, Maria Toorpakai
    • Pan Am Senior Championships (August 2024): Chris Hanebury, Graeme Williams
    • Pan Am U23 Championships (October 2024): Andrew Lynn
    • US Junior Open (December 2024): Alix Younger, Amr Elmehelmi, Chris Truswell, Joanna Phang, Jonathan Hill, Maria Toorpakai, Tyler Osborne
    • British Junior Open (January 2025): Chris Truswell, Graeme Williams, Jonathan Hill, Marci Sier, Victoria Lust
