KingSett Capital Announced as Platinum Partner for 2024 Canadian Women’s Open

Squash Canada is proud to announce KingSett Capital as a Platinum Partner for the 2024 Canadian Women’s Open.  Taking place from October 27-31 on the all-glass Power Court in Toronto’s Brookfield Place, the 2024 Canadian Women’s Open is officially the largest female professional squash tournament ever to be held in the country. The event will also mark Squash Canada’s official Olympic launch, as one of the world’s heathiest and diverse sports will take its rightful place on the LA 2028 program.

Partners like KingSett are instrumental in the continued growth of the tournament, which is now a PSA World Tour Silver event given the increased purse size for this year.  “This showcase of world-class squash closely aligns with our values as a company,” said Christie Love Thomas, (Vice President, Strategy and Board Member, Jona Capital).  “We believe playing high level squash requires important character traits like work ethic, time management, real-time problem solving and integrity. We pride ourselves on living these principles every day.”

On a community level, Bryan Salazar, Managing Director, Mortgage Underwriting and Funding with KingSett, is an avid squash player who also serves on the board of Urban Squash Toronto. UST is an organization that supports underserved youth in the Jane-Finch corridor and community partner of the Canadian Women Open.  Salazar shared: “This event is a wonderful opportunity for Urban Squash Toronto students to gain exposure to the highest levels of squash. The opportunity to learn from these role models and spend time on the glass court will further inspire these young athletes.”

Squash Canada is proud to onboard KingSett Capital as a Platinum Partner for the 2024 Canadian Women’s Open and celebrates their leadership in women in sport and community impact that sport can have on our youth.
