"I am truly honoured to have finished fifth in the inaugural Commonwealth Cup! Elite level sport is growing in Canada and Canadian athletes from many sports are proving to be a force to be reckoned with. I am humbled to find myself ranked amongst such incredible athletes as Andre De Grasse and Derek Drouin, and I am thankful for my team for allowing me to compete at such a high level in the sport that I love. I would like to thank the Commonwealth Games Canada for creating an event where athletes can measure their performance against that of individuals from many other sports. Squash is growing and so am I. I look forward to continuing to raise my game so that I can compete at the highest level."
