Championship Day Report – 2017 Canadian Women’s Team Championship

    The hometown crowd at la Sporthèque was treated to a victory as Team Quebec captured the 2017 Canadian Women’s Team Championship title with a 2-1 victory over Team Alberta.  Seeded 4th entering the championship, Quebec bettered their 5th place finish in 2016 to capture the championship against #1 seed Alberta.  
     
    2016 champions, Team Ontario, finished their 2017 run with the bronze medal defeating a hard-fighting Team Manitoba.
