With 300 competitors, at least one player from all 10 provinces and one territory, and over 500 matches scheduled over four days, the 2018 Mayfair Clubs Canadian Junior Squash Championships is the largest junior national event in recent history.

    DIVISION PREVIEWS

BU13 – 2017 BU13 title holder, Jacob Zihao Lin (BC) looks to repeat and enters the 2018 event as the #1 seed.
BU15 – Last year's BU13 finalist Alexandre Yuzpe (ON) enters 2018 as #1 seed in his first year in the BU15 division.
BU17 – Abdelrahman Dweek (AB) enters as the #1 seed, while Nikhil Ismail (ON) is seeded #2. Dweek and Ismail last faced each other in a finals match up at the 2016 Canadian Junior Open where Dweek captured the title over Ismail in the BU15 division.
BU19 – 2017's BU19 finalist, Ryan Picken (BC), enters as #1 seed, but faces a deep draw of talent. Looking to stop Picken's chance of BU19 finals redemption is 2017 BU17 champion George Crowne and 2017 BU17 finalist James Flynn.

GU13 – Maria Min of BC enters as #1 seed, while ON's Ananya Maheshwari is seeded 2.
GU15 – 2017 3rd place finisher, Sarah Cao (BC) enters the 2018 event as the #1 seed, while 2017 GU15 finalist, Molly Chadwick (ON) takes the #2 seed for the second consecutive year, ready to contend for the title.  Last year's GU13 champion Iman Shaheen (QC) and finalist Salma Mounir (ON) may have something to say about that.
GU17 – 2017 Champ, Charlotte Orcutt (ON), looks to repeat and earns the #1 seed entering into the 2018 contest. Looking to battle Orcutt for the national title is 2017's GU15 champ, Lucia Bicknell (BC).
GU19 – The stage is set to repeat the 2017 GU19 final match up as both last year's champion, Emma Jinks (PEI) and finalist, Andrea Toth (BC) have returned for another year and enter the 2018 contest as the #1 and #2 seeds, respectively. If both players make it to the finals, it will be their third championship match up in as many national events.

Over the course of the next four days, the competitors at the 2018 Canadian Junior Squash Championships will showcase the ever-growing talent of junior squash Canada is developing.
