Canada is preparing for the 2026 Pan American Junior Squash Championships, taking place June 28 to July 4 in San Salvador, El Salvador following a strong showing in 2025. This year’s squad will be looking to build on last year’s podium performances across all events, such as the Individual, Team, and Softball Doubles competitions.
The squad includes returning competitors, Veera Dhaliwal (BC) and Calder Murray (AB), who bring valuable international experience to the lineup. They are joined by Daniel Wang (BC), Gladys Ho (BC), Hasti Shemirani (ON), Jack Chen (ON), Navin Kerr (ON), and Olivia Bolger (ON), all of whom are making their Pan American Junior Championships debut.
“I’m most looking forward to competing against some of the top junior athletes in the Americas and experiencing the atmosphere of an international event in El Salvador,” shared Navin.
Echoing the same sentiment, Gladys shared that her goal is to “play my best, keep improving my game, and make Canada proud through my hard work and determination on court.”
Canada’s delegation will be led by coaches, Giselle Delgado, a BC-based two-time Pan American Games bronze medallist, and Oliver Pett, a former Top 50 professional now based in Alberta. Together, they will guide the athletes through the demanding multi-event schedule while supporting their development on and off the court.
With competition set to begin June 28 in El Salvador, we extend our best wishes to Team Canada as they take the court. Fans can follow along for live updates and results via @SquashCanada and @PanAmSquash. The full team rosters are listed below.
