Squash Canada mourns the loss of Chris Lang who for decades was a cornerstone in the Canadian sport community. Chris was not just a strong supporter of squash in Canada, but a deeply committed builder of sport at all levels throughout the country and internationally. Chris’ legacy of building can be found throughout many Canadian sports where he was an integral part of ensuring our athletes enjoyed success at the Olympics, Pan American Games, and Commonwealth Games. He was also a gifted athlete in his own right and his athletic qualities enabled him to succeed particularly well in the sport of entrepreneurship.
The entire Canadian sport community will miss Chris and he leaves a large void. Squash and sport in Canada would not be where they are today without a lifetime of contribution from Chris. Our deepest condolences to his family.
