Squash Canada is pleased to announce the addition of Samantha Cornett to the position of Events and National Teams Coordinator and Tammy Lyle-Gravlev to the position of Programs and Communications Coordinator.
“We are very pleased to have Samantha and Tammy join the Squash Canada team”, said Executive Director, Dan Wolfenden. “They both bring such great experience that will help bolster our capacity as we look to deliver on a very ambitious strategic plan.”
Samantha Cornett – Events and National Teams Coordinator
Samantha has been an active member of our Squash Canada program for over 10 years. She is a 4-time Canadian Squash Champion, Pan Am Games gold medalist, and 13-time PSA title winner. Upon retiring from her athletic career, she studied Recreation Management at George Brown College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Laurentian University. She is a Certified Club Coach in the NCCP with over 10 years coaching squash and is passionate about sharing our sport with as many people as possible, from beginner to high performance players. Samantha has worked as a volunteer with Squash Canada for many years as an athlete representative and has been involved with many other sport organizations as an ambassador and volunteer. Her primary focuses will be supporting national team activities, coordinating national and international events, and assisting with promoting our Canadian National team.

Tammy Lyle-Gravlev – Programs and Communications Coordinator
Tammy joins us with over 20 years of experience working with private, public, and non-profit organizations focused on enhancing health, wellness, sport, and recreational experiences. She has a background in recreational therapy and is passionate about making sport accessible and inclusive for all, especially children and youth with varying abilities. Tammy brings her knowledge in event and program coordination, volunteer recruitment, and marketing to the team and will be leading the coordination and administration of Squash Canada’s inclusivity, diversity and equity development, safe sport and membership development, events, and communication.
“I am excited to join the team at Squash Canada as the new Programs and Communications Coordinator and am looking forward to contributing to the development, growth and future of the sport across Canada”, said Tammy Lyle-Gravlev.
