It is with great honour that the Canadian Squash Hall of Fame Commission announce five remarkable individuals who will be inducted into the Canadian Squash Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday June 4th, during the 2022 Oxford Properties Canadian Squash Championships in Vancouver, BC.

- Barbara Cooper
- Michael Desaulniers
- Melanie Jans
- Shahier Razik
- Michael Way
Induction into the Canadian Squash Hall of Fame is the highest honour in the game of squash in Canada. The Hall was created to preserve Canada’s rich squash history while recognizing the achievements of distinguished players in all aspects of the game (hardball, softball, singles, doubles, men, women, professional or amateur including junior, intercollegiate and masters) together with individuals and entities who have made extraordinary contributions off-court. These players, officials, coaches, and builders, who brought great honour to our sport, our community and our country will be the inspiration for generations to come.
In late 2021, Squash Canada delegated the management of the Hall to an independent commission that operates under guiding principles in the selection process. The contributions and accomplishments of these five illustrious individuals has been exemplary and Canada is proud and honoured to preserve their tremendous legacy in the Canadian Squash Hall of Fame.
At the same time, the Canadian Squash Hall of Fame Commission is pleased to introduce its new logo to help visually celebrate its inductees. The logo borrows from the very popular Squash Canada 100th anniversary brand developed in 2015 to recognize the centennial of the national association. It symbolizes the history of squash with the depiction of vintage wooden racquets and the coast-to-coast-to-coast scope of Canada’s squash heritage by the symbolism of 12 maple leaves representing the 12 provincial/territorial squash associations.
More information on the Induction Ceremony will be provided soon.
