CANADIAN SQUASH HALL OF FAME COMMISSION ANNOUNCES NATASHA DOUCAS AS NEW CHAIR

The Canadian Squash Hall of Fame Commission (CSHOF) is pleased to announce the appointment of former President of Squash British Columbia, Natasha Doucas, as Chair of the CSHOF Commission effective April 2024. “Tasha has exceptional organizational skills, a vast knowledge of Canadian squash history and will be a terrific motivator given her incredible enthusiasm for the sport,” said Steve Wren, past Chair of the CSHOF.

Doucas joins the existing team of Steve Wren, Rashid Aziz, Lolly Gillen, Melanie Jans, Pat Richardson, Graham Ryding, and Gene Turk. The Commission will continue to deliver on their mandate to preserve Canada’s premier historical successes, and in elevating the awareness and prestige of Canada’s Squash Hall of Fame and its valued inductees.

The next induction ceremony will take place on the Power Court presented by The Syra Group during the Canadian Squash Championships, to be held in Toronto in May 2025.

The Commission is currently streamlining a Call for Nomination process, which will empower nominators with the opportunity to provide more comprehensive information to supplement the Commission’s ongoing due diligence in identifying the legends of Canadian squash.
