Team Canada Delegation Named for the 2025 US Junior Open

Following the 2025 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners, a delegation of 84 junior athletes representing Canada will travel to the 2025 US Junior Open, taking place from December 20 – 23 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The US Junior Open is the largest international junior squash tournament across the Americas and provides athletes with an invaluable opportunity to test their skills and gain international competition experience. Guided by a team of experienced Canadian coaches, Marci Sier (ON), Janet MacLeod (NS), Nick Sachvie (ON), Reiko Peter (ON), and Omar Tarek (ON).

“Competing at the US Junior Open is a fantastic opportunity for our athletes to challenge themselves,” says Samantha Cornett Singh, Squash Canada’s Director of Athlete Development. “Team Canada Coaches look forward to supporting Canadian athletes to hit their best possible performances. Beyond the competition, it’s about growth, camaraderie, and having experiences that our juniors will carry with them throughout their squash careers.”
