After a thirteen-year absence, the Badminton & Racquet Club of Toronto once again plays host to the season’s biggest doubles event. The 2026 Raymond James Canadian Doubles & Mixed Doubles Championships Presented by Slaight Music starts this week, running Tuesday, April 7 to Sunday, April 12. Mixed Doubles events get underway April 7 – 9, while the Women’s and Men’s draws begin April 9, with champions crowned on Sunday, April 12.
In addition to the action at the B&R, matches will also be hosted at various satellite clubs including the Granite Club, the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club, Mayfair Lakeshore, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, and the Toronto Racquet Club.
The Women’s draws feature a wealth of competition across the Doubles and Mixed divisions including Nikki Todd (partnered with Griffin Manley, then Jackie Moss), Stephanie Hewitt (with Dane Sharp, then Seanna Keating), Lolly Gillen (with Mario Raponi), and even Canadian No. 1, Hollie Naughton (with Cole Osborne).
The Men’s Divisions are equally stacked with many top players including Robin Clarke & Reiko Peter, and Matthew Henderson (with Stephanie Edmison). As well as Graham Ryding (with Michael Berry) and Gary Waite (with Dylan Deverill).
Squash Canada would like to thank Tournament Chair Eric Baldwin and his entire committee, the Badminton & Racquet Club, and valued title and presenting partners, Raymond James and Slaight Music, respectively, as well as all gold, silver, and bronze partners and patrons for their generous support of this event.
