Power Court Returns to Brookfield Place for the Fifth Canadian Women’s Open

The spotlight returns to one of the most striking urban squash venues this fall from October 25th to 30th. The 2026 Canadian Women’s Open and the Jonathon Power Court will return to the vaulted Allen Lambert Galleria at Brookfield Place in Toronto, ON for its fifth edition.

Each year, Brookfield Place has welcomed a deeper and more competitive field, last year being no different. Egypt’s Amina Orfi arrived in Toronto as World No. 3 and had the most dominant run in the tournament’s history thus far, sweeping through the draw without dropping a game to claim the title.

Orfi joined a list of past champions who have helped shape the identity of the Canadian Women’s Open, including Americans Olivia Weaver (2022) and Amanda Sobhy (2023), and Belgium’s Tinne Gilis (2024).

The women’s tournament, firmly established as a PSA World Tour Silver Event, will once again run in tandem with the Toronto Athletic Club Open, a PSA Men’s Copper event, which will join the glass court programming from the Semi Final stage onwards into the Championship Match.

Although the draws will not be finalized until early September, the Canadian Women’s Open and the TAC Open are key stops on a run of North American events, notably being a precursor to the U.S. Open in Philadelphia.

Squash Canada extends its sincere thanks to its Platinum Partners—AirSprint Private Aviation, Altas Partners, Amica Senior Lifestyles, Brookfield Properties, Capital Asset Lending, Dunlop, Oxford Properties, Pollock Clinics, Scotia Wealth Management, Slaight Music, and the Government of Canada—as well as valued Gold and Silver corporate partners and patrons for their continued support of this event.
