Nash Cup Commences In London, ON

    (Ottawa-ON)- The Nash Cup began on Monday in London, Ontario with the Men’s qualifying action. Eight Canadian men are in the tournament, who all played their first match yesterday.

    Strachan Jarvis lost his first match to Joe Chapman of the British Virgin Islands in 4 games 4-11, 5-11, 11-6, 7-11.

    Nick Sachvie and Thomas Brinkman, both of Canada, faced each other. Nick won the match in 5 games scoring 11-7, 4-11, 5-11, 12-10, 11-5.

    James Staveren defeated USA’s Adrian Leanza in 3 games scoring 11-7, 11-4, 11-6.

    Matthew Serediak and Brad Hanebury, both of Canada, faced each other. Matthew won the match in 3 games scoring 11-2, 11-3, 11-9.
