The Semifinals saw Albert Shoihet (Pool A Runner Up) match up against David Baillargeon (Pool B Winner), while Nick Sachvie (Pool A Winner) was set to play Matt Serediak (Pool B Runner Up). Unfortunately, Serediak withdrew from competition due to an injury, allowing Sachvie to clinch a spot in the secondary trials.

The Baillargeon/Shoihet Semifinal was a very tight, hard fought match that went the distance to 5 games. Shoihet would leave victorious, defeating Baillargeon 3-2 (5-11,12-10,13-11,11-13,11-8), clinching a berth in the secondary trials.

The results of the secondary trial, to be held this fall, will determine the players Canada will send to the 2015 WSF Men’s World Team Championship in Kuwait. The Men’s World Team Championship will take place at the Late Sheikh / Salem Al-Sabah International Squash Complex from December 12-18, 2015.
