Request for Proposal – 2015 Pan Am Games ‘Legacy Courts’

    Ottawa (ON) – The squash courts from the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games are looking for a new home.

    As part of the Pan American Games Legacy Program, Squash Canada has been gifted with the ASB state-of-the-art 3 glass-back court unit (with integrated lighting), which mechanically convert into 2 softball doubles courts. These courts shall be referred to as the ‘Legacy Courts’.

    The Legacy Courts are intended to provide additional courts for our top junior and senior players to train and develop into internationally recognized athletes.

    We invite interested parties to submit a proposal to take possession of the 3 court unit under the conditions of a joint Legacy Court Principles Agreement, entered into by both the Facility and Squash Canada. Please note that shipping and construction costs are anticipated to be around $50,000 are to be assumed by the successful bidder. Please consider this factor carefully in any intended Proposal.

    Interested parties who are preparing a bid must contact the Acting Executive Director named below to register their intent to respond by providing a contact name, an email address and a telephone number.

    All questions/clarifications pertaining to this RFP must be provided electronically in writing and received by:

    4:00pm EST, August 10th, 2015.
