Ottawa (ON) – Toronto’s Granite Club held another successful Canadian Junior Doubles event this weekend, hosting 78 participants in 8 categories of play. Play began Friday night and continued into Sunday afternoon with lots of action and exciting play.
Ottawa (ON) – Toronto’s Granite Club held another successful Canadian Junior Doubles event this weekend, hosting 78 participants in 8 categories of play. Play began Friday night and continued into Sunday afternoon with lots of action and exciting play.
The team of Lindsay Kuracina and Danica Deverill added to their streak at the event, claiming a 4th straight Championship, this time around in the Girls U15 division. A change of partners did not stop Josh Hollings and Josh Kay from each claiming a second straight title in their respective Boys U19 and Boys U11 categories. Hollings teamed up with Ben Pitfield while Kay partnered with Daniel Deverill to find the top of the podium again.
The Deverill family took home even more hardware on the weekend, as Dylan claimed the Boys U13 title with partner Aly Shalaby.
