Six Canadians Reach The Podium at 2018 WSF World Masters

    The 2018 WSF World Masters Squash Championships wrapped up this weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia. Out of 802 athletes competing from 63 countries, Canada was well represented with 82 athletes competing and representation in almost every age category! Heading into the event, 38 Canadians received seedings, 5 of them receiving top 4 seeds in their respective divisions.

    Our Canadian masters had an impressive showing over the week with 18 players moving onto the quarter-final rounds in their age divisions. After the semi-final rounds were complete, 5 Canadians were going for gold – including an all-Canadian final featuring Howard Armitage against Gerry Poulton in the M75+. A total of 6 medals were won by Canadians, which are as follows:
