Squash Canada's Centennial Celebration is underway at the National Squash Academy in Toronto, as the first day of matches at the SHOP.CA 2015 Canadian Squash Championships has begun. The top divisons of the Men's and Women's Open and A draws are in action today, with all other events beginning competition tomorrow.
Squash Canada's Centennial Celebration is underway at the National Squash Academy in Toronto, as the first day of matches at the SHOP.CA 2015 Canadian Squash Championships has begun. The top divisons of the Men's and Women's Open and A draws are in action today, with all other events beginning competition tomorrow.
Over 320 competitors are signed up over 21 divisions, playing in over 700 matches from now until Saturday's conclusion. The National Squash Academy is playing host to all main draw events with some matches taking place at the Toronto Cricket Club on Friday.
The weekend festivities will also include enteratinment each night, a Squash the Stars event and backyard barbeque on Friday benefiting Urban Squash Toronto, and the end of event Centennial Ball gala to celebrate 100 years of Squash in Canada.
All matches on the Glass Show court will be live streamed at squashcanada.tv and updated draws and results will be available all weekend on Squash Canada's Tournament Software page.
