Power Court Presented By Syra Ready for Action as World’s Best Descend on Calgary

The 2024 Canadian Men’s Open presented by AirSprint Private Aviation is about to begin, with the world’s top squash players getting settled in Calgary. Action gets underway at noon (MST) on Sunday, March 3rd, with eight opening round fixtures including local wildcard Connor Turk who plays at 1:30 pm. All matches will take place on the spectacular all-glass Power Court presented by Syra in Bow Valley Square.

The top seeds will spring into action Monday, March 4th against the winners of Sunday’s matches. Dimitri Steinmann of Switzerland and Qatar’s Abdullah Al-Tamimi will headline the lunch-hour session. Later in the day, Canadian #1 David Baillargeon will kick off the evening matches with a 4:00pm start time. #1 Seed and event favourite Diego Elias of Peru begins his title quest at 5:30 pm local time, while the in-form #2 Seed Mazen Hesham kicks off at 6:45 pm.

Weekly passes are sold out; however, individual sessions remain available. The digital broadcast will be available on SquashTV globally and CBC platforms within Canada for squash fans everywhere.
