The “Lapham” now in its 95th consecutive year of play is the longest annual team contest of any sport in North American history. In addition to the host University Club, other venues hosting match play include the New York Athletic Club, the Racquet & Tennis Club and the Union Club. This year’s Canadian team Captain is Norm Crook who has been working closely with Lawrence-Wilkin’s Captain Jon LeHeup & Crawford Captain Karen Levine. “The Lapham Grant United States vs. Canada invitational team challenge matches are one of the great traditions in the world of squash,” states Canadian Captain Norm Crook. “New York City is also a most remarkable venue which possibly explains the record number of players wanting to play at the Big Apple.”
